Mitzvah for Israel
Last Sunday, we experienced a significant and moving event at the CIB, which left a lasting memory for the entire Jewish community in the country. During the afternoon, we gathered as a community to connect live with other Jewish communities in Spain.
Together, we had the opportunity to listen to various representatives of the cause, including Ambassador Rodica Radian-Gordon, Deputy Mayor of Jerusalem, Fleur Hassan-Nahoum, and leaders of Beit Halochem, as well as Spanish-speaking soldiers who are fighting for the defense of Israel, among others.
The fundamental purpose of this event was to dedicate an afternoon of solidarity to support Israel and Beit Halochem, the foundation that assists injured soldiers of the IDF (Israel Defense Forces).
Once again, we reaffirm the strength that we possess as the Jewish people and express our ongoing commitment with the powerful sense of unity that characterizes us.
Israel Ambassador's Farewell Meeting
In an emotional joint act, organized by the CIB, all the Jewish communities of Barcelona met to say goodbye to the Ambassador of Israel, Rodica Radien-Gordon. The outstanding diplomat will conclude her mission in Spain in the coming months, leaving a significant legacy in bilateral relations between Israel and Spain.
